Bebras Challenge

International Challenge on Informatics and Computational Thinking

Since 2007 we are offering this challenge in cooperation with OCG (Austrian Computer Society) to all Austrian school students from grade 3 to grade 12. In Austria this challenge is called “Biber der Informatik”. No specific pre-knowledge is required to solve the tasks, but Computational Thinking is necessary to solve the tasks that are different in 5 age groups. More than 100.000 Austrian school students participated so far. We are leading the initiative in Austria and we are highly involved in the international task development process. So far more than 1000 tasks were developed addressing Computational Thinking skills.
